Clopton Tournament

This week the basketball teams have been playing a game everyday at the Clopton Tournament. Monday was a Varsity girl's game, so we had to go with them and cheer. They won, of course, because we cheered so good!

Tuesday was a Varsity boy's game, so we didn't go, but the varsity squad did. The boys won.

Wednesday we were supposed to go, but because of the fact that we had 4 cheerleaders on the bench (they'd either missed a game, or missed a practice, and that means that you can't cheer the next game), we decided not to go, because the Clopton Tournament is also a cheerleading competition, where they judge our cheering.
The girl lost that game, by the way.

Thursday the Varsity squad went with the boys again, and they lost.

Friday (yesterday) we went with the girls. They played Elsberry High, and beat them by ten points or so. We also cheered really good (we got to perform during 3rd and 4th quarter), we did two cheers and a shoulder stand. We were supposed to do a ground up where I back-based, and Beth Anne was the flyer, but when we practiced, she fell down both times (and hit my nose, so it's all swollen right now). Anyway, the girls won, and got 3rd place in the tournament, which is pretty cool. There's a boys game tonight, so the Varsity squad will be going, and we'll probably find out Monday if we won anything.
